Identify the work zone

Describe exactly where you will dig. Use front/back, compass directions, fixed landmarks and the nearest intersecting street.

A hired excavator must secure their own locate request. Do not assume your homeowner ticket covers a contractor’s work.

Only proceed in accordance with your confirmed work start date, utility responses and applicable law.
